Leadership Experience

With proven experience in communications development, strategic marketing, and brand management, Cooper specializes in development and implementation of effective strategic initiatives to increase organizational value. Cooper’s previous marketing experience focused primarily on two segments of economic development, including tourism (successfully unified the tourism brand image and messaging for Butte through production of various marketing campaigns) and community development (efficiently collaborated with multiple local organizations to create exceptional marketing and branding campaigns for the Butte community). With two degrees in Business and Information Technology (Marketing and Management), Cooper brings both technical and tactical skills to the Butte Local Development Corporation through his adept understanding of the social media climate, competency in web design, effective command of both technical and persuasive/creative written communication, aptitude for user experience design and management, and expertise in a plethora of computer-based software (such as the Adobe Suite package).
